  1. In spite of omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence, The Supreme Soul (GOD) wished to re-discover Itself. Hence, in order to experience the journey of Self-realization, The One decided to split Itself into millions of souls. However, the Supreme retained It’s true nature and did not diminish one bit despite splitting Itself into many parts.

As souls, our ultimate destiny is to re-discover the divinity within ourselves and rejoin the Supreme Soul. We are all inherently divine, but we forgot this fact so that we traverse the experience of Self-realization. All the religious books repeat the same; humans were created in the image of God and, only we have the intellect to observe, question and appreciate.

    1. For Sonali Malik,

“Hence, in order to experience the journey of Self-realization, The One decided to split Itself into millions of souls.” – The soul is a tiniest invisible particle. Gita says that soul cannot be broken into pieces. Therefore a soul cannot be a part of another bigger soul. [G.2.24] says – “This individual soul is unbreakable and insoluble, and can be neither burned nor dried. He is everlasting, present everywhere, unchangeable, immovable and eternally the same.”

“As souls, our ultimate destiny is to re-discover the divinity within ourselves and rejoin the Supreme Soul.” – The question of rejoin does not arise, because the soul was not broken to begin with as mentioned in the above Gita verse [G.2.24]. We do not have control over our destiny, because we do not have freewill, and also we do not have choices. You may want to take a look at the following article which in a sense is the summary of the soul theory book. https://www.academia.edu/38590496/A_COMPARISON_OF_MODERN_SCIENCE_WITH_VEDIC_SCIENCE

Please do not hesitate to ask more questions, if the answers given so far are not clear.

  2. Hello,

If the soul theory is true and theres no GOD. How did the soul and constantly growing universe came into existence then? Does the supreme souls decide their lifecycle like Krishna who takes birth in every Yuga out of his own will and otherwise is free from life/death cycle? Also, what about 84 lakhs life cycles human has to go through before they can take birth in human form? Is that something our soul decides?

    Can you answer this please?

    Best,

    1. For Sonali – These are the answers from Gita and Samkhya of Vedas for your last set of questions.

“Is that something our soul decides?” – No, nothing is decided by any soul. Every soul is guided by destiny. The Gita verse [G.3.5] says – “Everyone is forced to act helplessly according to the qualities he has acquired from the modes of material nature; therefore no one can refrain from doing something, not even for a moment.”

“How did the soul and constantly growing universe came into existence then?” – From Samkhya we know that – Every object has a soul and that soul has created that object. That means that soul is the God for that object. Thus there is no God that created the entire universe. Samkhya says – Soul is the root cause of all causes. The soul is causeless, and therefore soul is eternally existent, that is nobody created a soul. Samkhya says – Nonexistent cannot become existent. See the soul theory chapter of the book.

“… like Krishna who takes birth in every Yuga out of his own will and otherwise is free from life/death cycle?” Gita verse [G.4.5] says – “The Personality of Godhead said: Many, many births both you and I have passed. I can remember all of them, but you cannot, O subduer of the enemy!” Thus Krishna and Arjun both were born many times. In all cases it was predicted when Krishna will be born. Thus it was not his freewill. There is no freewill for anybody, not even for God, if it exists. Everything is a consequence of cause and effect law of the universe and is described in Samkhya.

Since every event in the universe is precisely predictable, and nobody can change that, then God cannot have any role. This is so because God cannot be predictable. God also cannot change things in our life, because we are guided by destiny. See the destiny chapter for more details.

“Also, what about 84 lakhs life cycles human has to go through before they can take birth in human form?” Again all answers are given in Gita. Here is one related verse, Gita on rebirth of the universe, [G 8:19] ―”Again and again, when Brahma‘s day arrives, all living entities come into being, and with the arrival of Brahma‘s night they are helplessly annihilated.” Notice the word helplessly, this means nothing but destiny, because we do not have freewill, not even the universe has it. One period of the universe is 8.6 billion years. Any soul can take birth in any form. A high level yogi can change his form to any form. Mahabharat has such examples. Yogic power chapter details such capabilities.

I hope I have answered all your questions. If you have any more questions, or if anything requires clarity, then please do not hesitate to ask. I believe all questions are answered in the book and in Vedas.

  3. Namaste❣
Sitting here, my mind questioning the purpose of this covid19 pandemic, sheltered in place. Does the Soul beg to leave the body in which it occupies? The Body/Mind of a person does not choose ‘Free Will’ and continues to wreck havoc in the world, destroying as much as they can regardless the cost? Besides financial gain, acceptance amongst their peers and power, what is the experience the tragedy does the Soul endure, does the Soul return and have a second chance in a new body, a new life?
Your response will be greatly appreciated.
    Sincerely,
    Konamisan91

    1. Thank you Kathie, for visiting this website on the soul theory book. This book is free and the site provides an opportunity for us to interact with questions and answers.

“… does the Soul return and have a second chance in a new body, a new life?” – Yes, this is called reincarnation. It is not only for second chance, it gives almost infinitely many opportunities to learn. And the book has many examples and proofs of reincarnations.

“The Body/Mind of a person does not choose ‘Free Will’” – Yes, there is no freewill for any activity that we perform. This is very easy to understand. Anything that we do is based on some reasons. Therefore reasons are controlling us. Since reasons come before we act, our past reasons control our present actions. This is called the cause and effect law of nature.

“… my mind questioning the purpose of this covid19 pandemic,…” – The cause and effect law says everything has a purpose. And the purpose is to gain experience in every life for all souls. Eventually reincarnations will give us a physical body which will not suffer any more. You can see that there are many people among us at the present time who have different levels of life’s experiences.

“Does the Soul beg to leave the body in which it occupies?” – Yes, when the soul leaves the body only then we die. In the next life the soul takes another body. This is true for every object in the universe, including the viruses.

These are the questions that humanity has been asking for millenniums. Their answers are given in both Vedas and Bible and in all books of all religions. That is why all books are same and correct. But all religions are different and wrong, including Hinduism. There are significant differences between the books and their corresponding religions. This situation also proves that there was a time when Vedas were known all over the world.

  4. Your humility is praise worthy! Indeed, there is “nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). But the simplicity and clarity with which you have provided this exposition, covering a gamut of complex ideas, is nothing short of remarkable! Why is this not more mainstream? In my opinion this can usher the world into a scientific new age.

    1. Thank you for your comments – it is an honor for me. I feel that humility is an innate quality of all souls; because all souls know the universal truth. It is only the work that we perform guides our thoughts and voices. We call it global destiny (Chapter-9) of our present time.

Tagor, a Nobel Laureate in literature from India, said – “The sky is full of suns and stars, universe is filled with souls. The realization that in the midst of all these I found a place mesmerizes me and my songs.” Knowledge of truth will always humiliate us. Nature shows the highest level of humility, and we are part of nature.

You have given me a very valuable reference – Ecclesiastes 1:9. The complete verse says – “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” I have to include this in the book.

This verse validates the assertion in the Soul Theory book that – There was a time when Vedas were known all over the world. The verse essentially talks about two laws of nature – (1) Eternal Recurrence (Section-8, Chapter-9 on Destiny) and (2) Conservation: Non-Existent cannot become existent (Section-3, Chapter-10 on Soul Theory).

Since “a gamut of complex ideas” is in nature there must be some coherence, which I tried to understand and summarize in four pages of Preface. If I have captured the ideas correctly, then surely, these ideas were in the mainstream and they will become the mainstream again, as pointed out by your Bible quote. Otherwise, I am hoping that people will visit my interactive blog site or download and read the free book, and help me to correct the errors.

I am afraid that unless we implement the Money-less Economy (Chapter-3) “a scientific new age”, as you suggested, will not happen. There is no way to know how life was in Vedic Period – for example, was there money – only a high level Yogi can tell (Chapter-2).

    1. Sam Mohanta,

Thank you for visiting the site. I feel honored. Let me hope that my reply works.

Mind Stirring! No, that cannot be. So many yogis and great philosophers came to this world before me. Many of them are still here. They did all the work for us. I could only collect a very small, tiny fraction of their contributions. All I did is to present their thoughts using this modern technology of Internet Blog sites.

      Best regards,
      Subhendu
